Deputy Minister of Local Self-Government, Ercan Selimi, has met with Hugo Sobral, Deputy Director-General of the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG Regio)

Deputy Minister of Local Self-Government, Ercan Selimi, met with Hugo Sobral, Deputy Director General of the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG Regio). On the meeting was also attended by Gaby Hagmuller, Program Manager from DG Regio, during which the current cooperation, the implementation of the IPA and Intereg programs, as well as the possibilities for its further deepening were discussed.
The meeting was also opened the issue of transnational programs, including IPA Adrian and Euromed, emphasizing the importance of regional cooperation and the exchange of experiences in the process of balanced regional development.
Gratitude was expressed for the continued support of the European Union in the processes of regional development and strengthening of institutional capacities.
The representative of DG REGIO has expressed satisfaction with the cooperation so far, emphasizing the need for further joint action in the direction of strengthening the capacities of local governments and promoting regional development.
