Deputy Minister Erdzan Selimi attended an event to present the results of an inter-municipal project being implemented in Gevgelija and Bogdanci within the framework of the call "Municipalities as Drivers of Sustainable Development". 
Financial support for the project "Inter-municipal Cooperation for Safe Communities" is provided by the Bureau for Regional Development and both municipalities.
The project has procured firefighting equipment, uniforms for the protection of firefighters, and a new digital tool has been developed. Encouraging inter-municipal cooperation is one of the key mechanisms through which municipalities, through a joint approach and sharing of resources, can provide better quality, more efficient and more sustainable services to citizens. At the same time, on Firefighters' Day, gratitude was expressed to all firefighters for their professionalism, dedication, and sacrifice in protecting citizens.
