Coordinated Action Remains a Priority: Aligning Policies and Projects for Tangible Results

Together with Stefan Andonovski, Minister for Digital Transformation, H.E. Christoph Sommer, Ambassador of Switzerland, and Armen Grigoryan, UNDP Resident Representative, Zlatko Perinski, Minister of Local Self-Government, participated in the meeting of the Steering Committee of the project “Strengthening Municipal Councils,” where discussions focused on achievements to date and the next steps ahead.

Evidence gathered during municipal visits underscores the need to advance digital services further, to improve citizens’ access to public services and ensure sustained support for capacity development.

In the period ahead, particular emphasis will be placed on further advancing the digitalization of municipal services, as well as on the development of the Programme for Sustainable Local Development and Decentralization for the period 2027–2032.
