The Minister of Local Self-Government, Zlatko Perinski, spent the morning in Vevcani, where, at a meeting with the Mayor Spase Kocovski he discussed the implementation of the projects approved in 2025, as well as the most urgent needs for support from the central government.
Additionally, at the meeting with the members of the Council, opinions were exchanged on the need to improve the legal framework for inter-municipal cooperation, emphasizing the importance of the association of municipalities, especially smaller ones, which face limited administrative and financial capacities.
During 2025, through the programs of the Ministry of local self-government, three significant projects were implemented in the Municipality of Vevcani:
- investments in energy efficiency through the installation of a photovoltaic system in the kindergarten "Planinski cvet”
- modernization of municipal services through new equipment for the (JKP) "Eremja”
- strengthening of the municipal capacities through new mechanization for maintains of the infrastructure.
The Ministry of Local Self-Government continues with the same dynamics and dedication, with a focus on concrete results on the ground.
