The implementation of the project has started for the extension and reconstruction of the primary education School "Sinisa Stoilov" in the Municipality of Zrnovci.

The Minister of Local Self-Government Ivan Stoilkovic is today on a working visit to the Municipality of Zrnovci, where the implementation of the project started "Introduction of energy efficiency measures and improvement of spatial conditions in the educational process through the expansion and reconstruction of the Primary School "Sinisa Stoilov" began, which is being implemented with financial support from the MLS through the Program for Reducing Disparities between and within the Planning Regions and Increasing Regional Competitiveness for 2026. The total value of the project is 4,701,503 denars, of which 4,600,000 denars are provided by the Ministry of Local Self-Government, while 101,503 denars are funds for co-financing by the beneficiary.

On the occasion of the start of construction works, the Minister of Local Self-Government emphasized that investing in educational infrastructure is an investment in the future of local communities. "Creating better conditions for education is one of the most important prerequisites for balanced local and regional development. Our determination is that every municipality that has a quality project and a clear vision for development will receive support, because all citizens deserve equal opportunities. The implementation of this project will improve the spatial conditions in the school, improve the energy efficiency of the facility, and provide a better environment for students and teaching staff. The Ministry of Local Self-Government will continue to support projects that bring concrete benefits to citizens and contribute to a better quality of life in all regions," said Minister Stoilkovic.

The project is part of the activities to reduce regional disparities and strengthen regional competitiveness through investments in public infrastructure, with the aim of creating better quality living and working conditions in local communities.
