As part of the caravan "Where the Heart is Home", the Minister of Local Self-Government Ivan Stoilkovic realized a working visit to the Municipality of Kocani, where he met with the Mayor Vladko Grozdanov.
The meeting discussed the current challenges facing the municipality, development priorities, and further promotion of partnership cooperation in the implementation of projects of importance for local development and a better quality of life for citizens. After the meeting, Minister Stoilkovic also meet with some of the young people who were injured in the tragic fire in Kocani and who were being treated in the Republic of Serbia. In a sincere and direct conversation, he wished them a successful recovery, emphasizing that the institutions will remain open for support and assistance in the coming period, whenever necessary. The visit to Kocani is part of the "Where the Heart is Home" caravan, through which the Ministry of Local Self-Government establishes direct communication with municipalities, timely recognizes their needs, and works to create efficient and sustainable solutions in the interest of local development and all citizens.
