Minister Perinski was in Delcevo today, where the talks focused on key topics for the progress of the municipality. At the meeting with Mayor Ivan Gotsevski, members of the Council and the municipal administration, the opportunities available to municipalities through the Resource Center, the current application programs with projects that contribute to balanced regional development, as well as the updating of the taxpayer databases - a process that will directly strengthen the financial self-sustainability of municipalities, were discussed.
As part of the visit, the Minister also inspected the tourism project "Integrated Cross-Border Tourism Actions in the Blagoevgrad - Delcevo Region", supported under the first call of the IPA III Interreg (VI-A) Cross-Border Cooperation Program with Bulgaria, under Priority 3 "Integrated Development of the Border Region".
The total value of the Delcevo project is 347,636 euros, with 15% being co-financed by the Ministry of Local Self-Government. Key activities are the construction of a skate park and the regulation of the Bregalnica riverbed.
Through the IPA III Cross-Border Cooperation Programme with Bulgaria, within the framework of Priority 3 "Integrated Development of the Border Region", a total of 10 projects for the promotion of naturism in the eastern part of the country are being financed, for which 4,271,885 euros are allocated.
