Promotion of project activities in the Southeast Planning Region

The Ministry of Local Self-Government and the Bureau for Regional Development, in partnership with the municipalities, implemented three significant projects that directly affect the quality of public services, safety and conditions for education in the Southeast Planning Region. Minister Zlatko Perinski, together with the mayors Aco Ristov, Risto Manchev and Slave Andonov and the director of the Center for Development of the Southeast Planning Region, Gjoko Kamchev, inspected some of the projects in the Southeast Region, which are financed through the Programs for Balanced Regional Development. From the project "Improvement of the Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings in the Southeast Region" with a total value of 33,825,422 denars, the Minister visited the TPPE Radovis where the investment is worth 11,441,514 denars (of which 5,670,295 denars from the BRR). Other beneficiaries of the project are the municipalities of Gevgelija and Bosilovo. Within the framework of the project "Creating a modern road network in the Southeast Planning Region", which has a total value of 8,866,118 denars, an inspection of reconstructed streets was made in the village of Piperevo, Municipality of Vasilevo and in the village of Borievo, Municipality of Bosilovo. Beneficiaries of the project are the municipalities of Bosilovo and Vasilevo. Within the framework of the project "Digitalization in primary education using smart boards" with a total value of 2,268,000 denars, 23 interactive boards were provided in the municipalities of Vasilevo, Bogdanci, Bosilovo and Novo Selo. The Minister visited the primary school "Goce Delchev" in the municipality of Vasilevo, which is equipped with smart boards.
