The “Months of Internship” Project Officially Launched

The Ministry of Local Self-Government and the Agency for Innovation, Scientific and Technological Development and Entrepreneurship (INOVA) officially launched the “Months of Internship” project, which aims to provide students from public universities with the opportunity to gain practical work experience in their home municipalities, in line with their fields of study.

As part of the first cycle of the project, more than 60 students will begin internships in municipalities across the country, gaining practical knowledge and experience through direct involvement in the work of local self-government.

Addressing the event, the Minister of Local Self-Government, Ivan Stoilkovic, emphasized that education is the cornerstone of every society, but that its true value is demonstrated when knowledge is put into practice.

“Through this program, we are investing in young people, their knowledge, and their professional development, as well as in the future of local communities. When we invest in knowledge, we build the future,” Minister Stoilkovic stated.

The Minister also expressed his gratitude to INOVA for its partnership, as well as to all the municipalities that wholeheartedly joined the project, recognizing its importance in creating new opportunities for young people and supporting the development of local communities.
