The Minister of Local Self-Government, Zlatko Perinski, at the invitation of the Minister of Transport, Nikoloski participated in the conference dedicated to sustainable urban mobility – a topic that is inextricably linked to the quality of life of citizens. The main goal of this conference is to raise awareness and encourage the exchange of knowledge and experiences on sustainable urban mobility, including relevant national and local authorities, the professional sector, the academic community and civil society organizations. From the perspective of local self-government, this means safe streets, environmentally friendly modes of transport and reduced congestion. The approach to this initiative includes solutions that address local needs and encourage changes in behavior, for a healthier and cleaner environment.
