The Minister of Local Self-Government, Zlatko Perinski, visited the Municipality of Rankovce where he met with Mayor Daniel Pavlovski, members of the Council and the municipal administration, at which they discussed the current challenges and development priorities of the municipality, as well as the opportunities offered by the Resource Center for Support of Municipalities. As part of the visit, he also met with MP Brane Petrusevski.
An insight was made into the implementation of the project "Sustainable Tourism in an Experiential Economy", which is being implemented within the framework of the IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program with the Republic of Bulgaria.
Value for Macedonian partners: 522.806 euros.
National co-financing from the Ministry is 78.420 euros.
In the coming period, the implementation of the project "Active Citizens for a Cross-Border Region Without Floods" will begin within the framework of the IPA III Cross-Border Cooperation Program with Kosovo.
The implementation of the project for the construction of a local road in the village of a total of 6.3 million denars was allocated through the Program for Balanced Regional Development.
Through the two public calls of the Government, 5 projects in the field of transport worth over 38 million denars are being implemented in the Municipality of Rankovce. Supporting local development and creating equal opportunities for all municipalities, including smaller ones, remain a priority.
