The Minister of Local Self-Government, Zlatko Perinski, together with Deputy Minister Selimi, conducted a working visit today to Vinica Municipality. During the visit, they met with the Mayor, Mitko Kostadinovski, and representatives of the Municipal Council to discuss priorities, local needs, and opportunities for support from the Ministry.
A particular focus of the visit was the work of the Resource Centre for Municipal Support and the Guide for Effective Local Management, which was electronically distributed yesterday to all mayors.
During the visit, an inspection was also conducted of the implementation of the project “Bringing Nature into Our Cities”, financed under the first call of the IPA 3 Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Interreg (VI-A) IPA between Bulgaria and North Macedonia, Priority 1: Greener Border Region.
The total value of the project in Vinica is €300,743, with 15% of the funding contributed by the Ministry of Local Self-Government.
The Government continues to invest consistently in the development of Vinica. In the recent period, through two public calls for infrastructure projects in local municipalities, 15 projects were approved with a total value of 159,058,947 denars.
The Ministry of Local Self-Government continues to be committed to assisting municipalities through development, infrastructure, and green initiatives that bring concrete benefits to all citizens.
