The Ministry of Local Self-Government, through the Resource Center for Municipal Development Support, announces a public call for experts to become part of the Expert Database of the Resource Center.
Purpose:
The purpose of this Expert Database is to establish a system for professional and timely expert support to municipalities in all areas necessary for the efficient exercise of local competencies. This initiative aims to create a mechanism for providing knowledge, experience, practical guidance, and solutions that will strengthen municipal capacities and create conditions for enhanced local and regional development in the country.
Through this call, a registry of highly qualified experts and practitioners will be established, who, upon request from municipalities, will be available for various types of support, including:
- Mentoring and professional guidance
- Specialized training
- Field engagements
- Tool development
- Preparation of analyses and manuals
- Drafting strategic and operational documents
Areas of expertise:
The areas are related to the core competencies of municipalities as well as broader domains. The Expert Database of the Resource Center will be grouped as follows:
- Urban Planning and Infrastructure
- Environment and Climate Change
- Local Economic Development (LED)
- Municipal Services
- Culture and Sport
- Social Services and Inclusion
- Education (pre-school, primary, and secondary – local aspects)
- Healthcare
- Protection and Rescue / Crisis Management
- Public Finance and Budgeting
- Public Procurement
- Legal and Administrative Services
- Digitalization and e-Services
- Good Governance, Transparency, and Anti-Corruption
- Inter-Municipal and Regional Cooperation
